The Leonids meteor shower was supposed to be visible yesterday morning in the pre-dawn hours. Stardate.org promised that when the moon set after 4am that I would be rewarded with quite a show. Stardate.org did not, however, promise that there would be no clouds. There were thick clouds and torrential rain and I could not see the meteors. Stardate.org assures me that there will be another meteor event named Geminids on December 13th and that I should expect the show any time after the moon sets at midnight. Keep your fingers crossed!
